Online Course Terms and Conditions

1. Course Access

  • The meeting link and access details provided are for the registered participant only.
  • Please do not share, forward, or distribute the Teams link or login information to anyone else.
  • Employ for Ability reserves the right to remove unauthorised participants from the session.

2. Recording and Intellectual Property

  • Recording, photographing, or screen capturing any part of the session or materials is not permitted without written consent from Employ for Ability.
  • All course materials, slides, and content remain the intellectual property of Employ for Ability.
  • Participants may use materials for personal or internal workplace learning only. Materials must not be copied, shared publicly, sold, or used for training others without permission.

3. Cancellations, Refunds and Rescheduling

Bookings are confirmed upon payment. Please choose carefully before registering.

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled session may be transferred to another available session date (subject to availability).
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in exceptional circumstances at Employ for Ability’s discretion.
  • Refunds are not provided for change of mind, non-attendance, partial attendance, or dissatisfaction with course content, delivery style, or learning outcomes.
  • Employ for Ability is not responsible for technical issues on the participant’s end that prevent attendance or full participation.
  • If Employ for Ability cancels or reschedules a session, participants will be offered either a transfer to a new date or a full refund.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights under Australian Consumer Law.

 

4. Technology and Participation

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a suitable device for joining the online session.
  • Employ for Ability is not responsible for technical issues on the participant’s end that prevent attendance or full participation.
  • Participants are expected to behave respectfully and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment. Disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the session.

5. Privacy and Data

  • Participant information is collected and used solely for course administration, communication, and evaluation purposes.
  • Personal data is managed in accordance with Employ for Ability’s Privacy Policy.
  • Sessions are not recorded unless stated in advance, and any recordings will only be used for internal quality or accessibility purposes with prior notice.

6. Disclaimer

  • The training provided by Employ for Ability is for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal or professional advice.
  • Employ for Ability accepts no liability for any loss or damages arising from actions taken based on course content or discussion.

7. Agreement

  • By booking or attending a session, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
